JUNE
24/06 Noodle and kittens attended the vets for a health check, happy to report all kittens are healthy and mum is well. Noodle will be taking a well deserved rest after taking care of 9 kittens.
23/06 Nala gave birth to 3 brown spotted kittens, both mum and newborns doing well.
Today (15/06) we sadly lost another little one.
We had to hand rear this little guy, he got into a scrap with his brother and sisters when he was about a week and came out worse, he managed to get a sceptic eye, which was cleared. He was such a little fighter, he went from his eye infection, through to not being able to poo and underwent x-rays etc to see if there was any blockage, thankfully there was none, just an extreme case of constipation, as you can imagine we were over the moon as it was nothing too serious. Alas at 3 weeks old he started to pass blood & little clots in his urine and not feeding, he was whisked off to our vets and over a couple of days he was given a couple of anti biotic jags, he perked up and commenced to pass normal urine and continued to feed as normal and for longer. Our final heart break was when he started to pass blood in his poo and we knew that this was serious, this time he was 4 weeks old and following me around everywhere and started to eat solids. yesterday he was again rushed to the vets, where he was given medication and all we could do was hope, later that evening he refused to eat and was very quiet, things didn't change much through the night, all we could do was keep him warm and try, sadly our little fighter passed away this afternoon and left an everlasting paw print in our hearts.
MAY
Sad news today (18/05), last night we found one of our little bengals dead, this was a shock to us as Noodle has been coping extremely well with the bundles along with us providing extra feeds in the evenings and nights.

Just had my suspicion confirmed today from the GCCF regarding the Shorthair Cat Club Show - Yes you guessed it, I managed to get the cats disqualified through no fault of their own....and well the judges did like them and I have learned to put in 2 separate entry forms, one for the Norwegians and the other for the Bengals.
Kittens looking for a New Family:- 2 Bengal Kittens.
Special
congratulations to Elfentanz Angelina for obtaining, a Best of Breed and her second GCCF Challenge Certificate.

Well done to Leo & Panda, at their first show
Leo came home with a 1st Open, BOB in the male kitten category and to his sister Panda for bringing home a 2nd Open in the female kitten category. Well done to Snodrop for his
achievements and bringing home a 2nd Open.
Granite has now been adopted by his new family in
Dorset, he is currently in the progress of learning how to fly.
Silly me, forgot to get my partner to sign the declaration as well as myself, this error has resulted in Fiddich & Granite being disqualified from the Scottish Cat Club Show and also means that all rosettes and GCCF Certificates are not valid, and for the little grey cells that I have left, I think that the same will happen with the Shorthair Cat Club Show as our Bengals are jointly owned as I cannot remember getting my partner to sign the declaration too. Atleast we know that they can wow the judges when required.
